Junior Campers Bonfire
Tonight our junior campers had a beautiful bonfire, as the sun set we sang songs, cheered, danced, told stories and roasted marshmallows and delicious s’mores! A perfect end to an amazing day at camp.

Dear families, friends and supporters, Now that camp is well underway and we are settling into the daily routine of camp, we are able to step back and reflect on the journey we have taken the last few years to be here. While we paused camp in person the last two summers our hearts have been at camp and our commitment to our mission has been steadfast. Moreover, there are so many wonderful people, organizations and supporters who have stuck by us the last few years, affirming their commitment to our camp mission and allowing us to plan, grow and thrive. Last summer we were able to connect our community through virtual camp. The experience, albeit different and then the magical experience of being together at wenonah in person was remarkable. Dear Families, Friends and Supporters, This is an extra special post! One of the extraordinary gifts of camp is the chance for our team to share in the magic of camp with children who we have known throughout their medical journeys. Organ donation is a life saving experience that utterly transforms the lives of children and families. At camp we are able to see this gift in action every day - our campers truly exemplify the stunning reality of organ donation. There is no more compelling case for how organ transplantation works than seeing so many kids of all ages - recipients of hearts, kidneys, livers, lungs and bowels enjoying themselves at camp; from singing around the campfire, to running, kayaking, competing, climbing ropes, inventing new games, cheering, laughing, searching for frogs, picking berries off the trees or immersing in the cool lake at camp.
