Gratitude to our donors and supporters

Dear families, friends and supporters,

Now that camp is well underway and we are settling into the daily routine of camp, we are able to step back and reflect on the journey we have taken the last few years to be here.  While we paused camp in person the last two summers our hearts have been at camp and our commitment to our mission has been steadfast. Moreover,  there are so many wonderful people, organizations and supporters who have stuck by us the last few years, affirming their commitment to our camp mission and allowing us to plan, grow and thrive. Last summer we were able to connect our community through virtual camp. The experience, albeit different and then the magical experience of being together at wenonah in person was remarkable. Our hearts and minds however remained determined to come back together and we are elated to be back.

This post is dedicated to the generosity of our donors and friends who continue to support us. Our special thanks to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, the David Foster Foundation, the Benjamin Walker Foundation, the Dr. Ken Citron Charitable Trust, the Jacobs Family and friends, Camp Wenonah and many extremely generous individuals who have provided donations, financial, in kind or in memory of a loved one or friend that have been instrumental to the operation of our camp. Each of your donations means everything to us. You are the very reason we are able to provide camp to so many children who have undergone organ transplantation or those who live with organ failure.

Organ transplantation transforms lives. We believe camp does as well. We thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts, kidneys, livers, lungs, and intestines.

Yours in camping

Stacey, Emily and Christina

In behalf of the campers and staff
